Green Jade – Neocaridina davidi

Green Jade is a highly attractive Neocaridina davidi shrimp variety, prized for its deep green coloration and high activity in the aquarium. The intense color looks best on dark substrate and in planted tanks, where the shrimp create a unique contrast with the green plants.

The shrimp we offer come from selective breeding and are healthy, active, and well-acclimated to aquarium life. Green Jade originates from blue and yellow lines, so the shell shade may vary depending on water parameters, lighting, and substrate.

Right after shipping, the shrimp may take on darker, navy, or bluish shades. This is a natural reaction to stress and changing conditions. After acclimation, their color gradually returns to the characteristic dark, jade-like green.

Green Jade is an excellent choice for both beginners and more advanced aquarists. The shrimp help maintain the biological balance in the tank by actively grazing on biofilm and leftover food.
