Description
Hornet Caridina Shrimp
Hornet is an exceptionally striking variety of Caridina shrimp, distinguished by its contrasting coloration resembling hornet colors. Intense orange-yellow stripes combined with deep black create a unique pattern, making Hornet shrimp one of the most distinctive varieties in shrimp aquariums.
The strong color contrast makes these shrimp look stunning on both light and dark substrates. In a well-maintained aquarium, their colors become even more intense, and observing their natural behavior is extremely interesting.
Hornet shrimp are peaceful and feel best in dedicated shrimp tanks or in aquariums with other gentle species. Like other Caridina shrimp, they actively forage through the substrate and decorations searching for biofilm, microorganisms, and food remnants.
